Itziar Markiegi a.k.a. Jana Jan. Artista transdisciplinar, dibujante, ruidista y performer, experimenta y realiza colaboraciones gráficas y sonoras e improvisaciones con diferentes artistas. Componente de Baba-Llaga, AM, actualmente del dúo de experimentación Magmadam en activo desde 2014, también es parte de Zorra y Grutal.
Ha participado en festivales como Ertz (Bera), Zarata Fest (Madrid-Bilbao), MEM, Proklama (Artium), IN-Sonora, Ars Electronica (Linz),..y espacios como Club Le Larraskitu (Bilbao), Vaciador, Casa Encendida (Madrid)…
Explora la creación y manipulación del sonido, la acumulación, a través de la improvisación y el uso creativo del error y el cuerpo como instrumento generador activo.

Sound plasticity, improvisation and saturated atmospheres generated to share the desconstruction and mixing of field, error, texture, body, and core recordings. Exploration in the creation and manipulation of the sound, decontextualization of diverse field recordings, through improvisation and the creative use of recording errors, accidents, and the body as an active instrument generator.
Noisy plastic/improviser, a component of Baba-Llaga, Mental Anorexia, SEXtoD and by herself as Jana Jan y TetaFX. She has completed sound colloborations and improvisations with different artists, such as Lapidación Láser, Shu Lea Cheang, Zer duzu Amy, Ibai Labega and in parades and festivals such as Ertz, MEM, ZarataFest, T-Festa and spacies such as Club de Larraskito.
