Julian Scordato

Bio

Estudió Composición y Música electrónica en el Conservatorio de Venecia y Arte sonoro en la Universidad de Barcelona. Miembro cofundador del Arazzi Laptop Ensemble, ha sido asistente de investigación para el Laboratorio de procesamiento de sonido y música del Conservatorio de Padua. Actualmente ocupa la Cátedra de Composición de Música Electroacústica en el Conservatorio de Cuneo, Italia. Como investigador, Scordato ha presentado resultados relacionados con sistemas interactivos y herramientas de notación gráfica en conferencias y talleres. Sus galardonadas obras electroacústicas y audiovisuales se han presentado y exhibido en festivales internacionales e instituciones de prestigio.

He studied Composition and Electronic Music at the Conservatory of Venice and Sound Art at the University of Barcelona. Co-founding member of the Arazzi Laptop Ensemble, he has been research assistant for the Sound and Music Processing Lab at the Conservatory of Padua. He currently holds the Chair of Electroacoustic Music Composition at the Conservatory of Cuneo, Italy. As a researcher, Scordato has presented results related to interactive performance systems and graphic notation tools within conferences and workshops. His award-winning electroacoustic and audiovisual works have been performed and exhibited in international festivals and prestigious institutions.
