Cabosanroque is a duo of sound artists – born in 2001 as a musical collective – builders of sounds that are applied to different areas such as sound installations, performing arts or music, always working with sound, the expressive capabilities of the machine and its possibilities to convey emotions. Laia Torrents (graduate in Industrial Higher Engineering by the UPC and higher studies of Composition, Harmony and Arrangements) and Roger Aixut (Bachelor of Architecture, UPC) are at the crossroads between rock group, plastic artists and performers. Cabo san Roque exploits the categories thanks to its artifacts: matter and wave, musical machines and instruments that make noise, serial objects that become unique in their mechanical-sound collages. In fifteen years of experience they have generated a heterogeneous population of musical machines that travel from one scene to another.
