Patxi Araujo

Artista y profesor del Departamento de Escultura y Arte y Tecnología de la Facultad de Bellas Artes de la Universidad del País Vasco U.P.V./E.H.U. Su línea de investigación tanto teórica como práctica se centra en el new media a partir de las relaciones entre el arte, las tecnologías digitales y sus poéticas, derivando hacia propuestas instalativas, maquinales, sonoras y audiovisuales. Ha realizado numerosas muestras de su trabajo tanto a nivel nacional como internacional.

Patxi Araujo is an artist and professor at the Department of Sculpture and Art and Technology of the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Vasco Country U.P.V./E.H.U. Much of his research on theory as practice is central to the new media to separate the relationship between art, digital technology, and their poetics, deriving from installation, automatic, sound, and audiovisual proposals. He is recognized by numerous exhibitions of his work on a national—almost as much as international—level.
