Bio
Giuseppe de Benedittis (’89) composer and performer. He studied Jazz focusing on ‘free-jazz’ and Electronic Music at the Venice conservatory. He took part in many masterclasses to achieve a deep knowledge of electronics (Moog, Ircam, Ina-GRM,…). For live performances his main instrument is the Serge modular synth. His music has been played in IT, ARG, AT, BE, CAN, EC, EST, FR, DE, NL, JPN, CH, UK and USA. His composition _sottosuolo_ was highly commended at the Ars Electronica Forum Wallis ’24. He recently won the prize ‘Premio Luigi Nono’ for the musical opera ‘Trovato per errore’. He worked as intern at the Ina- GRM in Paris for 6 months (10.24/03.25).
