Sound artist and teacher, Javier Andrés Ortiz graduated from the Provincial Conservatory of Music. Ortiz launched a postgraduate degree at Academic Actualization in Art in Theatre School, he studied electronic engineering at UTn FrBB, an Artistic Residency in Interactive Technology at the Cultural Matienzo Center and took online courses at the Berklee College of Music and George Institute of Technology, on music related technology.

Multiple pieces of his acousmatic music and visual sound art sound have obtained acknowledgements from the National Biennial Jury of 2013 MBA- MAC, finalist for SIME 2015 and 2016 from France, award winners at the Bienal Regional 2016 MBA- MAC, and awarded at the Suena Argentina Project, CD from CEIArtE de la UNTREF.
