Conceptual definition

The construction of Myxomatosound required reproducing Calder’s model sculpture, using similar dimensions and materials, but never with the purpose of achieving exact fidelity; it was a matter of reinterpreting and adapting its forms, finally seeking for the viewer to clearly discover its origin, associating it to the works of Calder in general, and evidenced by the mere presence of the speakers, that it is going to be a sound reinterpretation, one that seeks a correspondence between the dynamics of the movement, at the time proposed by Alexander Calder, for his work and the sound that will arise and interact with surroundings by the displacement of the speakers.
