Kris Limbach es un artista sonoro multidisciplinar y cineasta. Sus performances sonoras adoptan diversas formas, desde el ruido, la improvisación y el cine expandido hasta la difusión inmersiva multicanal.
Ha publicado en sellos como contour editions, dents de scie, Buchhandlung Walther König, silent y staaltape.
Sus bandas sonoras para las películas «Dead & Juicy» y «Hells’ Bells» formaron parte recientemente de la exposición Broken Music Vol. 2 en la Hamburger Bahnhof.
Limbach fue uno de los miembros fundadores de la banda de black metal vanguardista Nocte Obducta. Dirige el Festival de Televisión Expandida T.A.T.V. y es cocurador del microfestival Emitter en Berlín.

Limbach was one of the founding members of the avantgarde black metal band Nocte Obducta. He runs the T.A.T.V. expanded Television Festival and co- curates the emitter micro festival in Berlin.
