Descripción conceptual
Es un proyecto de investigación y creación en torno a prácticas sonoras de la tradición mágica popular y su posible relación con la vida de personas que han vivido un proceso de migración de entornos rurales a la metrópolis.
El proyecto se centra especialmente en imaginar posibles estéticas y políticas del cencerro, entre lo material y lo mágico: como dispositivo relacionado con el éxodo rural, con la ganadería tradicional y con de rituales donde el estruendo cumple funciones apotropáicas.

This is a research and creation project on sound practices of the popular magical tradition and their possible relationship with the lives of people who have lived through a process of migration from rural environments to the metropolis.
The project focuses especially on imagining possible aesthetics and politics of the cowbell, between the material and the magical: as a device related to the rural exodus, to traditional livestock farming and to rituals where the roar fulfils apotropic functions.
