Descripción conceptual

Articula la relación entre la vida microbiana y la percepción humana, proponiendo un dispositivo que resalta breves emisiones sonoras. Explorando la “biomedialidad” y la “microperformatividad”(HAUSER), conceptos que cuestionan visiones antropocéntricas. La biomedialidad implica factores habilitantes derivados de la manipulación de organismos vivos, la microperformatividad investiga cómo el arte puede interactuar críticamente con tecnologías que operan a nivel microscópico y molecular.

This piece of work examines the relationship between microbial life and human perception through a  device that amplifies fleeting sound emissions. It engages with the concepts of biomediality and microperformativity (Hauser), which challenge anthropocentric perspectives on art and technology.  Biomediality involves enabling factors derived from the manipulation of living organisms, while microperformativity investigates how art can critically interact with technologies that operate at the microscopic and molecular levels.
