Rumiación

La instalación representa el proceso de pensamiento obsesivo en torno a un problema, es decir, la rumiación. Un rotulador, sujeto a una pequeña barra, corre continuamente sobre una hoja de papel dibujando círculos y recreando así ese proceso. La hoja se coloca encima de un armario rack y las vibraciones provocadas por este movimiento son amplificadas por las planchas de hierro del rack. El público podrá acercarse ofreciéndose como una mano amiga y la instalación responderá a eso.

The installation represents the process of obsessively thinking about a problem—rumination. A marker, attached to a small rod, moves continuously across a sheet of paper, drawing circles and thus recreating this process. The sheet is placed on top of a rack cabinet, and the vibrations caused by this movement are amplified by the rack’s iron plates. The public can approach, offering a helping hand, and the installation will respond to that.
