En la ciudad de Madrid, y gracias a la plataforma cultural [CRU], ha surgido OBLIQUO, una iniciativa pionera dedicada a la creación y producción de arte digital contemporáneo. El eje central del proyecto es una pantalla vertical, un formato que conecta especialmente con las generaciones más jóvenes gracias a su familiaridad con las narrativas digitales actuales.
OBLIQUO se posiciona como el primer espacio en España dedicado exclusivamente al videoarte, el arte electrónico y digital, y uno de los pocos en Europa. Ofrece una programación mensual que combina artistas nacionales e internacionales, emergentes y consagrados. También cuenta con una convocatoria abierta para artistas que deseen explorar el formato vertical, así como invitaciones a creadores destacados.

In the city of Madrid and thanks to the cultural platform [CRU] a pioneering initiative dedicated to the creation and production of contemporary digital art has emerged: OBLIQUO. The centre piece of the project is a vertical screen, a format that resonates especially with the younger generations because of their familiarity with current digital narratives.
OBLIQUO is positioned as the first space in Spain dedicated exclusively to the video art, electronic and digital art, and one of the few in Europe. It have a monthly program combining national and international, emerging and established artists. It also has an open call for artists who wish to explore the vertical format, as well as invitations to outstanding creators.
