Lutería experimental con Tunipanea

Taller de Lutería experimental: instrumentos del azar.
Impartido por el artista Jonathan García Lana a.k.a. Tunipanea.

Un taller práctico en el que vamos a trabajar a partir diferentes mecanismos y materiales con el objetivo de experimentar y disfrutar con el concepto del azar como recurso conceptual, estético y sonoro.

Fabricaremos sistemas inestables utilizando una serie de recursos como motores, ventiladores o solenoides, que unidos a piezas mecánicas sencillas se encargarán de activar diferentes artefactos sonoros. Vamos a experimentar también con sencillas construcciones de instrumentos de cuerda y percusión que nos enseñarán conceptos básicos de lutería experimental aplicables a tus proyectos personales.

Durante el taller habrá tiempo para aprender de forma práctica técnicas con herramientas básicas y sobre todo habrá espacio para jugar y experimentar de forma compartida cada cual con su nivel de experiencia e interés. Al finalizar pondremos en común los diferentes hallazgos en una presentación informal a medias entre una instalación sonora y un concierto colectivo y dejaremos espacio para conversar o especular en casos particulares con las posibilidades de las diferentes construcciones.

La organización se encarga de aportar los recursos mínimos para realizar el taller, pero para hacerlo más interesante es recomendable traer alguno de los siguientes materiales: latas de cualquier tamaño, botellas de plástico de refrescos, pequeños objetos metálicos / vidrio / cerámica, mecanismos con pequeños motores/ventiladores reciclables, instrumentos musicales incluso de juguete, otros objetos pequeños que creas que tengan posibilidades.

A practical workshop in which we will work with different mechanisms and materials with the aim of experimenting and enjoying the idea of fate as a resource conceptually, aesthetically, and auditorily.

We will make unstable systems using a series of materials like motors, fans, or solenoids, which when put together with simple mechanical parts, will create a variety of sounds. We will also experiment with simple constructions of string and percussion instruments that will teach basic concepts of experimental luthiery to apply to your own personal projects.

During the workshop there will be time to learn practical techniques with basic tools, and above all there will be space to play and experience in a shared way that meets every person at their level of experience and interest. At the end we’ll share our findings in an informal presentation in between a sound installation and a collective concert and leave space to discuss particular cases within the possibilities of our various creations. 

While the organization is in charge of providing the minimum amount of resources for the workshop, but to add interest, it is advised to bring some of the following materials: cans of any size, plastic drink bottles, small objects made of metal / glass / ceramic, mechanisms with small motors, recyclable fans, musical instruments (including toys), or any other small objects you believe may have potential.

PROGRAMA:

• Durante este taller vamos a construir instrumentos.
• Utilizaremos principalmente objetos reciclados.
• Una vez terminadas estas construcciones, pasaremos a hacerlas sonar con pequeños motores, ventiladores..
