Bio
Artista – investigadora de prácticas híbridas. Licenciada y Profesora en Comunicación Audiovisual (UNLP), Máster en Fotografía Documental y Artística (ESCUELA TAI / URJC); y Máster en Artes y Profesiones Artísticas (Escuela SUR / UC3M). Su trabajo ha obtenido numerosos reconocimientos como la Beca Activar Patrimonio del Ministerio de Cultura de Argentina (2020), Beca de Arte y Educación Pilar Juncosa y Sotheby’s de la Fundación Miró Mallorca (2021), la Residencia Semestral en el Centro de Residencias Artísticas Matadero Madrid (2024) y la Residencia Sobremesa II (2024) del Centro Cultural de España en Santiago, Chile. En 2023 realizó en La Casa Encendida y junto a un grupo de vecinas del barrio de Lavapiés, el proyecto sobre comidas y comunidad “Menjunje. Prácticas para construir un lenguaje común”. Sus proyectos han formado parte de exposiciones, congresos y festivales en España, Argentina, Paraguay, Chile, Estados Unidos, Francia, Islandia, Turquía y Dinamarca.

Estefanía Santiago is a professor of audiovisual arts at UNLP. From 2011 to date, she has produced works with Ananké Assef, Adriana Bustos, Romina Resuche and others. She participated in Participó de Proyecto PAC, Residencia Curadora, Programa FFAN, Gullkistan Residency (Iceland), Residencia NidoErrante, Encontro de Artistas Novos, and Residencia Cantera-Tabacalera. She received an individual award from the FNA and a PAR award with the collective Constructora`s Club. She has produced numerous individual and collective expositions. She is currently pursuing her masters in contemporary photography at TAI by means of a talent award. She is a member of a research group called En los márgenes, which is part of the Comunidad de Madrid.

Artist and researcher of hybrid practices. She holds a degree and teaching certification in Audiovisual Communication (UNLP), a Master’s degree in Documentary and Artistic Photography (TAI School / URJC), and a Master’s degree in Arts and Artistic Professions (SUR School / UC3M). Her work has received numerous awards, including the Activar Patrimonio Grant from the Ministry of Culture of Argentina (2020), the Pilar Juncosa and Sotheby’s Art and Education Grant from the Miró Mallorca Foundation (2021), a semester-long residency at the Matadero Madrid Center for Artistic Residencies (2024), and the Sobremesa II Residency (2024) at the Spanish Cultural Center in Santiago, Chile. In 2023, at La Casa Encendida, she collaborated with a group of women from the Lavapiés neighborhood on the project “Menjunje: Practices for Building a Common Language,” which explored food and community. His projects have been part of exhibitions, conferences and festivals in Spain, Argentina, Paraguay, Chile, the United States, France, Iceland, Turkey and Denmark.
