Thiago Parizi nació en Sao Paulo donde estudió Bellas Artes en la Universidad Armando Alvares Penteado. Después de graduarse, fue a Barcelona donde realizó un Máster en Bellas Artes. En este momento, vive en Warsaw, Polonia donde trabaja como un artista de técnica mixta desde 2008, explorando la intersección entre el arte post conceptual contemporáneo y el arte sonoro. Trabaja con varios medios, instalaciones, grabados, vídeos, arte con la red y nuevas tecnologías. Sus obras se entienden mejor con la investigación del arte y la lengua que con la técnica. Thiago ha participado en 30 exhibiciones en los países como Brasil, España, Italia, Alemania, Finlandia, Corea del Sur, y Bulgaria. Recibió dos becas del Gobierno y ganó premios por sus obras varios veces. Aparte de su trabajo autónomo, Thiago es fundador del colectivo de arte sonoro y experimental PirarucuDuo.

Thiago Parizi was born in São Paulo (Brazil) where he studied Fine Arts at the University Armando Alvares Penteado. After graduation he moved to Barcelona (Spain) where he received his master degree in Visual Arts and Education at the University of Barcelona. Now he lives in Warsaw (Poland) where he works as an artist. Thiago Parizi has worked as a multimedia artist since 2008, exploring the intersection between post-conceptual contemporary art and sound-art. Working with several mediums from installations, prints, videos to web-based art and technology, he’s artwork is best understood not by it’s mediums but by it’s overarching research on art and language (sound and speeches). Thiago has taken part in over 30 exhibitions in countries such as Brazil, Spain, Italy, Germany, Finland, South Korea and Bulgaria. He also was a recipient of two state grants and has won awards on several different occasions for his artwork. Aside from it’s solo work, Thiago is a co-founder of the experimental sound-art collective PirarucuDuo.
