En 2023, un grupo neonazi destrozó el cementerio judío de Katowice (Cmentarz ul. Kozielska), en Polonia. Ese año quise visitar el cementerio, pero estaba cerrado. Con el paso de los días, conseguí ponerme en contacto con el arquitecto encargado de su conservación y me invitó a visitarlo. Cuando entré, me sorprendió cómo se había integrado la naturaleza en las tumbas. A partir de entonces, mi interés creció y decidí visitar otros cementerios judíos de Polonia, como el de Varsovia (Cmentarz Zydowski), donde se repetía la misma simbiosis. Un ejemplo inverso es el edificio Uniwersytet Warszawaski de Varsovia, donde la naturaleza forma parte de la arquitectura.

In 2023, a neo-Nazi group vandalized the Jewish cemetery of Katowice (Cmentarz ul. Kozielska) in Poland. That year I wanted to visit the cemetery, but it was closed. Over the following days, I managed to get in touch with the architect responsible for its conservation, who invited me to visit it. When I entered, I was struck by how nature had become integrated into the tombs. From that moment on, my interest grew and I decided to visit other Jewish cemeteries in Poland, such as the one in Warsaw (Cmentarz Żydowski), where the same symbiosis could be observed. An inverse example is the Uniwersytet Warszawski building in Warsaw, where nature is integrated into the architecture.
