Neno Belchev nació en 1971 en Varna, Bulgaria donde vive y trabaja en este momento. Se graduó en Pintura Mural en la Academia Nacional del Artes en Sofia, Bulgaria. Trabaja en varias áreas: arte vídeo, performances, instalaciónes, escultura, nuevas comunicaciones y también como comisario independiente.
Neno ha participado en una variedad de exhibiciones solo y en grupo, A nivel nacional e internacional. Ganó becas de residencia (AIR) en Rusia, China, Japón, y Portugal y premios en los festivales internacionales de cine en Rusia, Estados Unidos, Países Bajos y Austria.

Neno Belchev was born in 1971 in Varna, Bulgaria. Lives and works in Varna. He graduated in Mural Painting from the National Academy of Art in Sofia, Bulgaria. Works in the fields of video art, performance, installation, sculpture, new media as well as independent curator. Neno has participated in a wide range of solo and group, national and international exhibitions.
He has been awarded artist in residence grants (AIR) in Russia, China, Japan and Portugal and awards from international video and film festivals in Russia, USA, the Netherland and Austria. Among his post important international participations are: Hong Kong City Hall (Hong Kong, Hong Kong / 2013); National Centre for Contemporary Arts (Saint Petersburg, Russia / 2011); White Box Gallery (New York, USA / 2010); Apexart (New York, USA / 2010); He Xiangning Art Museum (Shenzhen, China / 2009); Wichita Falls Museum (Texas, USA / 2009); DEPO Tutun Deposi (Istanbul, Turkey / 2009); Today Art Museum (Beijing, China / 2008); Moerenuma Koen Hidamari Museum (Sapporo, Japan / 2007) and many others. Neno Belchev is one of the founders of the Videoholica International Video Art Festival in Varna, Bulgaria.
