TypewriterBot cuestiona nuestra relación con las máquinas así como la  propia definición actual de conversación. En nuestro tiempo, la comunicación a través de las redes sociales es muy común y normal… Gauthier pone el foco en este tema. Usando esta máquina de escribir, dejamos que se muestren ciertos sentimientos o sensaciones  como vergüenza, sorpresa y nuestro proceso mental como usuario.
